ETP, a subsidiary of the SGE Group, is a leading manufacturer of

Founded in 1976, ETP became directly involved in the development of
electron multipliers in early 1980, continuing a program started at
Australia's leading research institution, the Commonwealth Scientific
and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO).
The company
introduced its first-generation product, which incorporated replaceable
dynodes, in 1982. This technology was superceded in 1991 by the ACTIVE FILM Multiplier™
technology developed by ETP which provided superior performance and
robustness necessary for high Mass Spectrometry throughput
applications. Since that time, ETP has supplied detectors to end users
and manufacturers of mass spectrometers worldwide.
